Please note that monitor drivers do not control the number
of colors
you can display in Windows. They only enable Windows to recognize
the maximum resolution and refresh rate of your monitor. If you
are having problems displaying more than 16 colors in Windows, you
need to install a driver for your Video Card. Contact your Video
Card or Computer maker for help.
- To optimize the DOS mode, use the full screen
pattern (DOS1.EXE) file which is included in this CD. It is located in
"X:\ENGLISH\DRIVERS", where "X" is the drive letter of your CD ROM Drive.
Click START>RUN>BROWSE to browse to the folder above. Then double
click DOS1.EXE. Press and hold the ALT key on the keyboard
and press ENTER to maximize the screen.
- Press "AUTO" button on the front of
the monitor for
2 seconds, the monitor will automatically adjust the screen.
- Press "ESC" to close DOS1.EXE file.
If the DOS-MODE characters still have distortion the
following distortions:
- The picture can't go to full screen.
- The background of white pattern has vertical stripe
noise.
- The characters are twisted.
It means your monitor parameter
was in wrong resolution, please check if your VGA-CARD supports 720x400 @ 70Hz.
In general, the Dos Mode resolution
is set by VGA-CARD to 720x400 70Hz but a small number sets it in 640x400 70Hz.
Our monitor only supports 720x400 70Hz. Please check with the VGA-CARD
manufacturer for help on how to set the DOS Mode to 720x400 70Hz.
